Keychain usually contains sensitive information, which is why they don’t allow you do anything without the password. It’s a good idea to create a new keychain because there is no way to recover it if you have forgotten the password (which is usually the same as your login password). During startup, it will ask if you want to create a new keychain for this account. You should now be able to log in with the new password, but you won’t be able to unlock the Keychain.Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected. Follow the prompts to reset the password.
